Junior High School
Goal: To prepare capable and responsible students who are equipped for the demands and choices of senior high school education through the Montessori approach.
OBJECTIVES
• To offer a Montessori curriculum that is relevant, rigorous, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of junior high school students, following the principles of cosmic education and personal projects.
• To foster junior high school students’ mastery of core subjects, such as English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health, Technology and Livelihood Education, and Research Skills.
• To instill junior high school students’ sense of identity, self-awareness, and self-discipline, by modeling grace and courtesy, encouraging self-evaluation and self-correction, and promoting personal growth.
• To engage junior high school students in meaningful community service and social action projects that promote social justice and global citizenship, by providing them with opportunities to interact with different cultures, environments, and issues.
• To support junior high school students’ humanistic exploration, by providing them with opportunities to reflect on their place in society, their values and beliefs, their goals and passions, and their contributions to humanity.
