The Preschool Education is a sensorial exploration phase wherein there is a development of self thru direct contact with their environment with maximum use of their senses.
Goal
Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschool children through the Montessori approach.
Objective
• To implement a Montessori curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, child-centered, and individualized, following the principles of observation, freedom, and prepared environment.
• To equip preschool children with the foundational skills and knowledge that prepare them for grade school education, using specially designed materials that introduce concepts of language, mathematics, culture, and practical life.
• To cultivate preschool children’s love of learning, creativity, independence, and self-confidence, by allowing them to choose their own activities, work at their own pace, and follow their own interests.
• To foster preschool children’s respect for themselves, others, and the environment, by modeling grace and courtesy, encouraging cooperation and collaboration, and promoting peace education.
• To enhance preschool children’s sensory awareness and exploration, by providing them with sensorial materials that stimulate their senses and help them refine their perception of size, shape, color, sound, and texture.
