VMC Logos
Original School Seal
The original logo of Villagers Montessori College (VMC) was designed and created by the late founder, Dr. Armando M. Lascano, in 1983. The logo is a seamless combination of patterns that, when examined, reveals the letters VMS, which stands for Villagers Montessori School, the former name of Villagers Montessori College. The two stars in the logo represent the two owners who founded the institution and their commitment to guiding students towards a bright future.
The color scheme of the logo is composed of red, blue, and yellow. Red represents the school’s passion for education and commitment to excellence, while blue represents the school’s focus on providing a stable and trustworthy learning environment. Yellow represents the school’s commitment to fostering creativity and a positive educational atmosphere. The combination of these colors creates a harmonious and welcoming feel that reflects the school’s vision of providing total quality education.
Current and Official School Seal
After years of challenges and growth, Dr. Lascano decided to enhance the school’s logo to reflect the growth and resiliency of the institution. The new logo features a blue phoenix, which symbolizes rebirth. This is particularly significant because VMC faced a major setback when its campus was destroyed by fire. However, the school was able to rise from the ashes and rebuild itself into a stronger and more resilient institution.
Superseded with the blue phoenix is the original logo of the school. However, the design of the original logo was revised to remove the letter S, which makes the pattern of the logo appear as the letters VMC, which is the acronym of Villagers Montessori College.
The logo also features a green leaf, which symbolizes continuous growth and learning. This represents the school’s commitment to providing quality education that fosters growth and progress. Finally, a mechanical bearing was added to the logo, which symbolizes continuous harmonious motion that the institution wants to achieve. This represents VMC’s commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages all its stakeholders to work together in providing total quality education.
Alternate Logo
The alternate logo of Villagers Montessori College (VMC) was designed to give the institution a distinct identity that is easily recognizable and memorable. The purpose of the alternate logo is to associate Villagers Montessori College with its acronym, which is VMC. The design of the logo is simple yet elegant, with the word VMC clearly visible in bold letters. The font used in the logo is modern and sleek, which reflects the school’s commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
The color scheme of red, blue, and yellow was retained in the design. Red represents the college’s passion for education and commitment to excellence, while blue represents its focus on providing a stable and trustworthy learning environment. Yellow represents the college’s dedication to fostering creativity and a positive educational atmosphere. The acronym meanwhile reflects the school’s values of valiant faith, meritorious services, and conscientious character.
